BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT

As we can see in the picture, the Side Channel Doubler (75F6-6) were both trimmed diagonally following the 75-F-6 (Baggage Compartment) drawing. Originally there is no cut out and we trimmed it using milling by my friend, Mr Mahmud Isa, from School of Aerospace Engineering. One of the trimmed part is overtrimmed to 82 mm but I guess it is not severe and can be proceed.

This is a picture of the plan of the Side Channel Doubler that need to be trimmed diagonally, 80 mm from its both edge.

Both of the Side Channel Doubler is then ready to be riveted with A5 rivets. Using a #20 clecos, we then grip the Side Channel Doubler to the Side Channel (75F4-1).

As shown in the picture above, with a Hand Riveter, we have riveted one of the Side Channel. We have checked and no issues on the rivets on its head and its tail.

We then move on to the other Side Channel, and riveted through the Side Channel Doubler. No issues on the rivets as we have checked on the head and its tail.

Finally, this is the back of the Side Channel and Side Channel Doubler. We again checked the rivets and no issues for today.
