ELEVATOR SKELETON,SKIN AND TRIM TAB

Deburred after cutting the Tip Rib

Several long pieces of duct tape were used to hold the Nose Skin in place

Then, drilled #40 and Clecoed on both Nose Skins and Reae Skins

Clecoed the Skin and Spar

8mm line was marked from the front edge of the Trim tab. 10mm was measured from the edge.

An even Rivet Fan approximately 40mm was used as a layout on the Trim Tab.

The Trim Tab Hinge was pushes between the top of the Trim Tab Channel and the Rear Skin. A 0.016 inch shim was used to position the barrel away from the Trim Tab Channel so the Trim Tab Hinge doesn't bind or wear on the Trim Tab Channel.
