TOP FUSELAGE SKIN AND REAR FUSELAGE ASSEMBLY

 

Bottom fuselage

Rear H.T frames was drilled through to the bottom skin with a #20 drill bits. Then the frames were deburred.

The Bottom Fuselages skin, L angles and both bottom longerons were applied with a primer on their rivet lines and areas which have mating surfaces with other parts.

For about one day, the parts were leaved to dry.

Top fuselage

With 45 degree angle, the edge of each lateral L angles were cut 5 mm from the edge so that these lateral L angles will have clearance with the side skin lateral L angles.

All the parts ( longerons, skin and L angles ) were disassembled so that deburring can be done. The process proceed with the alodine process.

Left fuselage

With a #40 cleco, the top longerons of the left fuselage was clecoed.

The longerons and the L angles #40 holes were widen to #30 holes.
