RUDDER CONTROL

As for today, we have continued our process of assembling the Forward Fuselage. The part that we planned is to enlarge the #40 hole on the Lateral Pedal Bearing to 3/16” size holes on the passenger side and the pilot side.

 

It is shown in the picture above; we have enlarged the Lateral Pedal Bearing #40 holes with 3/16” drill. In this situation, we have drilled the holes separately that means, we enlarge the Lateral Pedal Bearing first. Then we enlarged both two holes through the Pedal Bearing Channel and the Cabin Floor. Both parts are then clecoed with 3/16” cleco, gold coloured cleco.

 

Then, we continued on the other side of the fuselage that is on the passenger side. Two holes shown in the picture above will be enlarged to 3/16” holes.

In this situation, we have drilled the holes separately that means we enlarge the Lateral Pedal Bearing first. Then we enlarged both two holes through the Pedal Bearing Channel and the Cabin Floor. Both parts are then clecoed with 3/16” cleco, gold coloured cleco. The parts are checked for consistencies.
