FUSELAGE JOINING & FORWARD FUSELAGE SECTION
Today, we finally will enlarge all the holes to its final sizes through the Forward Fuselage
We begin to enlarge holes size for the holes line as shown that are the Forward Top Skin and the Forward Side Skin. The plan calls for #20 size. So, with a 5/32” drill bit, we enlarge the holes and cleco for the left and right side fuselage
Then with a #20 drill bit, we enlarge the hole through the Forward Side Skin, Forward Top Skin and the Longeron of the Cabin Side for the passenger side
Next with a #20 drill bit, we enlarge the hole and cleco through the Forward Side Skin, Forward Top Skin and the Longeron of the Cabin Side for the pilot side
Next with a #30 drill bit, we enlarge the hole and cleco through the Forward Side Skin, and the L-angles on the Pilot Side
Next with a #30 drill bit, we enlarge the hole and cleco through the Forward Side Skin, and the L-angles on the Passenger Side
Then, we continue to enlarge the bottom L-angle on the passenger side with #30 drill bit and cleco through the Top Forward Skin and the L-Angles
Next we continue to enlarge the bottom L-angle on the pilot side with #30 drill bit and cleco through the Top Forward Skin and the L-Angles
Next we continue to enlarge the top L-angle on the pilot side with #30 drill bit and cleco through the Top Forward Skin and the L-Angles
After that, we will continue to enlarge the holes along the Instrument Panel. We have use #40 grip pin to grip between the instrument panel and the Forward as shown in the picture
As shown in the pictures, we have enlarge the holes to #30 size and grip pin with #30 cleco and grip pin
With a #30 drill bit, we enlarge the Heel Support Gusset through the Heel Support on both sides and cleco as shown in the pictures
Now we move on the Bottom Fuselage. As in the Plan, it call for #20 hole size
Therefore, with a #20 drill bit, we then enlarge the holes along the side of the Bottom Longeron
And also we have drill the hole to #20 size along the Bottom Firewall Lips and Bottom Fuselage Lips and cleco. No issues regarding this
