FUSELAGE JOINING & FORWARD FUSELAGE SECTION


Today, we have started to do the Forward Side Skin Stiffening process. L – angle deburred and then cut to fit between the Side Cabin Stiffener and firewall. A center line is drawn along the L –angle

 

A 10 mm point is then marked at the end of the L-angle and drill with # 40 drill bit. This hole will be the first point that shared with the hole on the Side Cabin

 

The L-angle is then position along the Bottom Rivet Line of the Forward Side Fuselage, Pilot SIde. When the line is visible through the pre drilled holes, we then crimp the top flange to match the curvature of the Side Skin. With a # 40 drill bit, back drill through the Side Skin into the L-angles and Cleco

 

Then we continue to the Middle L-Angle as shown in the picture below

 

Next, we continue to work on the Top L-Angle

 

Then, we continue to the Bottom L-angle, Passenger Side

 

Next, the Middle L-angle

 

And the Top L-Angle
