FUSELAGE JOINING & FORWARD FUSELAGE SECTION

This is the Left Side Gear Strut Fittings. It is checked and we are ready to do a pilot drill on the points located on the rear portion of this part.

This is a close up view for the points that we will drill with #40 drill bit.

Then, we start to do a pilot drill on the Right side of the Gear Strut Fitting using a Table Drill and a #40 drill bit.

This is the Right Gear Strut Fitting that have been drill with #40 drill bit. There are 6 points of #40 holes.

Then we started to drill the pilot hole on the Left Side of the Gear Strut Fitting also with Table Drill and #40 drill bit.

This is the finished part of the Gear Strut Fitting.

Then we attached both Gear Strut Fittings on both sides of the fuselage.

And in picture above, we also have attached the Right Gear Strut Fitting.

Then, after we have aligned the Gear Strut Fitting such that, the rear Fitting edge is aligned with the Rear Fuselage Skin, while, Front Fitting aligned with the bottom of the Forward Fuselage, we then drill through the Right Side Gear Strut Fitting, Forward Fuselage Skin, rear Fuselage Skin, Side Channel and Side Channel Cover with #40 drill bit. Then, with a #40 grip pin, we then gripped the part tightly.

Finally, we also have drilled through the Left Side Gear Strut Fitting, Left Side Forward Skin, Left Side Rear Skin, Side Channel and Side Channel Cover. Then we gripped them with #40 Grip pin.
